Unfortunately Medicare does not value the collaborative and preventative care model and does not reimburse for collaborative care meetings and wellness services that we provide to all clients.
You may have heard that Medicare providers cannot charge more than Medicare approved amounts for services covered by Medicare. All Medicare providers can, however, charge you for items and services that Medicare doesn’t cover.
Our practice fee is one of those items.
We provide our collaborative and wellness based service model to all clients, so this cannot be waived (except for financial necessity) for clients.
